Mr. C. B. Palmer was a resident of Stanton Hall in 1882.

He was a generous supporter of St Michael’s Church. In April 1882, he provided plants and flowers from the conservatory at Stanton Hall to decorate the church for Easter services. He also conducted the musical portion of the Easter services, demonstrating his involvement in the musical life of the church.
