THE Rev. Finlay Sanderson, Rector of Stanton-by-Dale from 1926 to 1933, who died on December 21, aged 85, left £13,024 gross, £12,617 net value (duty paid £1,146).

Mr. Sanderson, who lived at Park Road, Dorking, left £500 to the governing body of Eton College, £250 to the Provost and Fellows, £250 to University College, Oxford, and £250 to Wycliffe Hall, Oxford.

He also left £100 each to: The Rev. John MacWilliam, of Aberdeen; Victoria Hospital, Edinburgh; Eton Mission at Hackney Wick; Oxford House, University Settlement, Bethnal Green; Oxford and Bermondsey Mission; St. John’s School, Leatherhead; the Bishop of Guildford’s Challenge Fund—and other charitable legacies totalling £1,150.
