Juvenile Traders: Street Trading at Stanton-by-Dale
JUVENILE TRADERS.
At the Ilkeston Petty Sessions on Thursday, Robert Lacey, 20, Moorbridge-lane, Stapleford, was summoned under the bye-laws relating to the employment of children, for allowing his child, Robert Lacey (aged 13) to street trade by selling firewood on November 9th. He was further summoned for allowing Edith Lacey (10) and Wm. Severn (12) to street trade by selling firewood at Stanton-by-Dale on November 17th. Evidence was given by P.S. Bramley, P.C. Roberts, and P.C. Stevenson, and a fine of 6s. was imposed in each case.
