ADULTERATED SWEET NITRE.β€”Ellen Hancock, of Stanton-by-Dale, was charged with selling adulterated sweet spirits of nitre, at Stanton-by-Dale, on December 2nd. Mr. Bailey, of Derby, prosecuted. Mr. Thorpe was for defendant, who pleaded guilty. Mr. White, county analyst, gave evidence to prove the extent of the adulteration. The Bench fined defendant 2s. 6d. and Β£1 10s. 6d. costs. Mr. Fletcher did not adjudicate in this case.
