Robbery from a Till at The Chequers

**ROBBERY FROM A TILL.β**John Selby was charged with having, on August 25, stolen half-a-crown, the money of Henry Andrews, beerhouse keeper, The Chequers, Stanton-by-Dale. Prisoner was at prosecutor’s house, and was seen by a waiter to go to a drawer, which he opened. He took from it half-a-crown, which he put in his pocket. Prisoner, who was an elderly man, pleaded guilty, and was sent to prison for one month.
