Nut Brook Intended Canal
NUT BROOK intended CANAL.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, That Application is intended to be made in the next Session of Parliament, to obtain an Act for making and maintaining a navigable Cut, or Canal, from or near the Colliery at Shipley, in the County of Derby, in a line with or near to a certain Brook, or Stream, called Nut Brook, to communicate with and join the Erewash Canal on Stanton Heath, in the said County; which said Cut, or Canal, will pass through the several Liberties of Shipley, Mapperley, Westhallam, Kirkhallam, and Stanton, in the Parishes of Heanor, Kirkhallam, Westhallam, and Stanton, all in the said County of Derby.
